As of last Thursday, Sweet Pea is officially a resident of Hackney Downs Studios and we love our new home!

Although the studio was a raw space, it has so many gorgeous features I fell in love straight away. I loved this feature wall, the exposed brick and pipes which have been painted white, and the original red floor which has just been varnished.

Turning it into a florist’s studio is a work in progress and I’ll be blogging pictures of how it’s all coming together. All I have in there currently is this gorgeous bespoke table (made from reclaimed scaffold boards by one of the talented build team), some repro Tolix stools and an industrial sink. The sink  I seem to particularly love, perhaps it’s because my Dad is a plumber and had plumber envy when he saw it!

This week it’s all about benches and storage space. We have 10 days breathing space after a packed September of weddings and events  so I’ll be cracking on with turning Worskhop 1 into our new home.
