Stephanie & Tom Stephanie’s stunning trailing bouquet. The bridesmaids had posies of gyp. candelabra packed with summer flowers and trails of clematis Clematis, my new favourite flower! Stunning candelabra with hydrangea, roses, lilac, lisianthus and trails of clematis The silver candlesticks finish the table beautifully you know how much I love a silver bowl filled with summer flowers lilac and ivory rose, hydrangea, lilac and of course clematisThe overall style for Stehanie & Tom’s May wedding at Gaynes Park was classic, elegant and romantic. To achieve this we used stunning summer flowers in shades of lilac and purple with touches of ivory to lift slightly. The flowers were the best of the summer selection; purple hydrangea, lilac roses, lilac (which smelt divine), sweet peas, lisianthus and clematis- it’s my new favourite flower!
Stephanie’s trailing bouquet was a joy to make, dramatic and a definite show -stopper. Roses, spray roses, lisianthus and yes, clematis to create that movement.
To create a luxurious feel and to add interest to the Mill Barn we mixed tall silver candelabra and low silver-footed bowls . The candelabra had generous domes of flowers with clematis trailing the stem. The bowls wre packed with all these gorgeous summer flowers and clematis spilling out. Adding matching silver candlesticks finishes the look for the low arrangements
These super photos are by Catherine at Lily and Frank and they get the tone just right.
